– Is Calibration possible on Height Scales?
A mechanical stadiometer cannot be calibrated as it is essentially a ruler. However, for electronic stadiometers, the readings are obtained using sensors. To ensure proper functioning, an accessory with a known length (such as a steel bar) can be provided and used for accuracy control.
