Thermometers / Data-loggers
Thermometers / Data-loggers
Perfect for temperature monitoring, our data-logger thermometers are calibrated before shipment and can generate detailed reports with min/max values, alarms, etc.
Description
Data-loggers are thermometers capable of storing temperature measurements in an internal memory. Most data-loggers can generate reports (usually in standard formats such as .pdf) with or without a dedicated software.
These devices can be configured according to the user’s needs with alarm levels, measurement intervals, start delays, etc.
Tips
Help us find the right product for your needs!
Important points to consider before choosing a thermometer/data-logger are:
- is it possible to install software on users’ computers?
- the temperature range
- any parameters to pre-configured
Faqs
– What is the difference between a data-logger and a “min/max” thermometer?
A data-logger can store a lot of measurements in its internal memory and is able to generate detailed reports with or without additional software (depending on the model).
A “Min/Max” thermometer will simply display the minimum and maximum values recorded (usually along with the current temperature), which can be reset, but will not be able to generate detailed reports.
– Is it possible to re-configure data-loggers multiple times?
Most data-loggers can be re-configured without any limitations. Some models can be locked by the manufacturer so users cannot accidentally reconfigure the device.
– If the end user cannot install any software due to IT restrictions, how can I monitor the temperature?
A few data-loggers do not require any software for configuration and generation of reports. However, such data-loggers usually cannot monitor ultra-low temperatures. In that case, simple “min/max” thermometers should be used as no software is needed.
